Missy’s Portrait – 2017
Oil on canvas with genuine gold and copper leaf. For another portrait of Missy, check out this. For another pet portrait I was hired for, visit this post. The companions in our lives deserve a portrait that comes close to doing them justice. A portrait should never be a mishap or a cheap ‘cut-corners’ cookie-cut painting. They should be an experience for the viewer and reflect our companions heart and soul. That’s what I try to do with these paintings. It’s not easy, but it’s well worth it.
